Bruqe APAC

Job No.: BRQ-APAC-MEL-DIA-013
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Region: Bruqe APAC
Team: Decision Intelligence
Level: Analyst
Employment Type: Full Time
Reporting To: Engagement Lead, APAC

The Role

Bruqe is seeking a Decision Intelligence Analyst to support high-stakes strategic engagements across markets, technologies, industries, and institutions.

You will translate complex quantitative and qualitative evidence into structured analyses, system maps, decision frameworks, and executive-ready outputs. Working alongside advisory, research, and technical colleagues, you will help clients understand the forces shaping a decision—and the implications of different strategic paths.

What You Will Do

  • Structure ambiguous strategic questions into clear analytical workstreams, hypotheses, and decision frameworks.

  • Gather, assess, and synthesise market, company, technology, policy, and economic evidence from diverse sources.

  • Conduct quantitative analysis to identify patterns, relationships, risks, and potential decision levers.

  • Support the development of scenario models, systems maps, and visual decision tools.

  • Prepare concise, rigorous client materials that communicate findings, trade-offs, and recommended actions.

  • Contribute to engagement delivery, internal knowledge development, and the continued evolution of Bruqe’s analytical methods.

What You Will Bring

  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in economics, finance, business, engineering, data science, public policy, or a related quantitative discipline.

  • Strong analytical judgement, with the ability to move from raw information to a coherent point of view.

  • Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, investment research, analytics, or a similarly rigorous environment is advantageous.

  • Confidence working with structured data and analytical tools; proficiency in Excel is expected, with Python, SQL, R, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools regarded favourably.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas with precision and restraint.

  • Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving contexts.

What Success Looks Like

You will bring clarity to complex questions, maintain a high standard of analytical rigour, and produce work that enables senior colleagues and clients to make better-informed decisions. Over time, you will develop increasing ownership of workstreams and contribute meaningfully to Bruqe’s decision-intelligence capability.
