Job No.: BRQ-APAC-BLR-BIA-029
Location: Bangalore, India
Region: Bruqe APAC
Team: Product & Decision Tools
Level: Analyst
Employment Type: Full Time
Reporting To: Product & Analytics Lead, APAC

The Role

Bruqe is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to help transform complex data into clear, reliable, and decision-ready intelligence.

You will develop analytical outputs, reporting structures, and interactive dashboards that enable advisory teams and clients to examine markets, operating environments, and strategic options with greater clarity. The role combines analytical rigour, commercial understanding, and an ability to design information in a way that senior decision-makers can use.

What You Will Do

  • Analyse business, market, operational, financial, and external data to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and decision-relevant insights.

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualisations that make complex information accessible to executive users.

  • Translate strategic questions and stakeholder requirements into clear data definitions, analytical logic, and reporting structures.

  • Work with data-science, engineering, research, and advisory colleagues to integrate relevant datasets into decision-support tools.

  • Conduct data-quality checks, reconcile inconsistencies, and maintain confidence in the accuracy and traceability of outputs.

  • Support the development of executive materials, including data-led exhibits, performance views, and strategic decision frameworks.

  • Contribute to standards for dashboard design, analytical documentation, and reusable business-intelligence components.

What You Will Bring

  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in business analytics, economics, finance, data science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, consulting, corporate strategy, financial analysis, or a comparable analytical environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills and practical experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable business-intelligence and visualisation platforms.

  • Familiarity with SQL and data modelling; exposure to Python, R, or other analytical languages is advantageous.

  • Strong attention to data quality, analytical logic, and the distinction between informative metrics and superficial reporting.

  • The ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues, including senior stakeholders.

  • A structured, detail-oriented approach and a genuine interest in using data to improve strategic decisions.

What Success Looks Like

You will create decision tools that are accurate, intuitive, and genuinely useful in high-stakes discussions. Your work will help teams and clients move from fragmented information to a shared understanding of the indicators, relationships, and trade-offs that matter most.
