Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Region: Bruqe EMEA
Team: Strategy & Foresight
Level: Consultant
Employment Type: Fixed-term
Reporting To: Engagement Lead, EMEA
The Role
Bruqe is seeking a Strategic Foresight Consultant to help corporate, investment, and public-sector leaders navigate decisions shaped by long-horizon uncertainty and systemic change.
You will lead substantial components of engagements involving scenario development, transition strategy, market evolution, technology disruption, policy change, and strategic resilience. The role combines client-facing consulting, structured foresight methods, systems thinking, and evidence-led strategic judgement.
What You Will Do
-
Lead workstreams that frame and assess strategic questions involving uncertainty, transition, growth, resilience, investment, or long-term positioning.
-
Develop scenario frameworks that examine how market, technology, policy, economic, operational, and stakeholder forces may evolve and interact.
-
Facilitate client interviews, working sessions, and executive discussions to surface assumptions, test strategic choices, and build alignment.
-
Design systems maps, uncertainty matrices, early-warning indicators, and decision frameworks that clarify material dependencies and trade-offs.
-
Assess implications for strategic direction, capital allocation, portfolio choices, capabilities, partnerships, and operating models.
-
Develop clear, rigorous client deliverables, including executive narratives, strategic options, scenario outputs, and action roadmaps.
-
Support proposal development, intellectual-capital creation, and the continued refinement of Bruqe’s foresight methodologies.
What You Will Bring
-
An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in business, economics, public policy, international relations, engineering, sustainability, technology, or a related discipline.
-
Relevant experience in strategy consulting, strategic planning, corporate development, foresight, policy advisory, investment analysis, or a comparable client-facing environment.
-
Demonstrated capability in scenario planning, systems thinking, strategic analysis, or decision-making under uncertainty.
-
Strong problem-structuring and synthesis skills, with the ability to convert broad, ambiguous questions into practical strategic choices.
-
Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and facilitating constructive challenge in executive settings.
-
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
-
Sound judgement, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to maintain analytical rigour in complex, fast-moving situations.
What Success Looks Like
You will help clients move beyond single-point forecasts and develop strategies that remain resilient across a range of plausible futures. Your work will make uncertainty more tractable, clarify the choices that matter most, and enable leaders to act with greater confidence, flexibility, and strategic intent.
